It depends on the car. In general, cars will get greater economy using fuel with less ethanol. So assuming your car requires high octane fuel (typically 91 or higher), then the low ethanol 93 will result in better economy and more power than fuels that contain ethanol.
Lower-octane gasoline is blended with 10% ethanol to attain the standard 87 octane. Ethanol contains less energy per gallon than gasoline, to varying degrees, depending on the volume percentage of ethanol in the blend.
Octane numbers
The blending RON of ethanol is about 120-135, and the blending MON 100-106. The sensitivity (RON-MON) is typically 8-10 units for gasoline, but 14 units for ethanol. The high octane numbers of ethanol could enable optimization of engine to increase the thermal efficiency.
REC-90 is an ethanol-free, 90 octane unleaded gasoline blend designed for use in recreational/marine engines which can be damaged by the ethanol found in other gasoline blends.
Our base unleaded is 87 octane and the most common premium is 91 octane, which often contains no ethanol, depending on the refinery and the blend the station has requested. To get 88 octane, at the pump the station would blend 3 parts 87 at 10 percent to one part 91 at zero percent, resulting in 7.5 percent.
Engine Damage
Mixing ethanol and non-ethanol gas can damage your engine in the long run. Mess up the proportions or just keep using the mix for too long, and you risk causing permanent damage to your engine, the fuel system, and more car components in your vehicle.
While your car can handle the occasional mistake, avoid mixing ethanol and non-ethanol gas. Stick to the manufacturer-recommended fuel blend that the engine can burn well.
Using pure gas can lead to better mileage. But increased fuel economy from using ethanol-free gas may be offset by its higher cost. Non-ethanol gasoline typically costs more than ethanol-blended varieties. Using non-ethanol gas in your car won't harm the vehicle's engine.
The short answer is, no, ethanol-free gasoline is not bad for your car. Most cars today can run on ethanol gas blends up to E15 (15% ethanol) and on non-ethanol gasoline. And flex fuel vehicles can handle up to E85 (85% ethanol) without a problem.
How long is ethanol-free gas good for?
If stored properly, ethanol-free gas can last up to six months. It is not as likely to succumb to oxidation or evaporation. E10 gas has a three-month shelf life maximum. This makes ethanol-free gas ideal for storage compared to E10.
It will make it run with more power, yes. And more efficient because gasoline has more energy per unit than ethanol. It also is more “green” to run pure gasoline. Ethanol is a scam and more energy/emissions goes into making a gallon of ethanol than what you can get out of a gallon of gasoline.
Shell 91 octane V-Power and Chevron Supreme 94 octane gasolines have no ethanol in them. Some smaller, independent gas stations also sell regular (87) octane that is ethanol-free. There is a website called Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada .
The octane ratings of AVGAS, a gasoline-based fuel, are usually either 91 or 100 (lean mixture) and 96 or 130 (rich mixture). The octane rating of jet fuel is much lower, around 15 – this is much more like automotive diesel and thus much more resistant to detonating due to sparks or compression.
Unleaded 88 is a fuel for gasoline-powered vehicles containing 15% ethanol. It gets its name from its octane rating of 88. Unleaded 88 is often referred to as E15 because of its 15% ethanol concentration.
It's significantly more expensive due to the US subsidies to the people growing corn. Corn is a terrible source of ethanol and the transportation and processing of the corn uses a lot of gasoline so there may be some minute reduction of CO2 at enormous cost to the taxpayer.

Ethanol doesn't produce as much energy when burned vs gasoline without ethanol. Non-ethanol fuel does provide more power and generally better gas mileage in most cases, the exceptions being engines designed specifically for ethanol use.

Can I put 91 non ethanol in my car?
No problem at all. Modern cars can cope with either straight gasoline or ethanol-added gasoline. Just use the octane number your engine is designed for. You might even notice a slight improvement in fuel economy - ethanol has less energy per gallon, so ethanol-gasoline has about 4% less energy than straight gasoline.
In fact they will, generally, get better fuel mileage and produce more power without ethanol in the fuel. (Ethanol contains about 30% less energy than gasoline.) The carburetors on most older engines were calibrated for non-ethanol gasoline and will produce a leaner fuel/air mixture when ethanol is present.
Choose fuel with the lowest ethanol content possible.
To minimize issues, you should use either ethanol-free gas in your lawn mower or fuel that has the least amount of ethanol content possible. Fuel sold at a gas station is often E-10 gas, which contains 10% ethanol and can be used for your outdoor power equipment.
No problem mixing fuels. The problem exists when you use non-ethanol fuel for extended period of time and then fill up with ethanol fuel. It dissolves the sludge in the tank and causes problems. You will be fine, regular fuel is already a mix of ethanol and gasoline (10% ethanol and 90% gasoline).
The ethanol used in today's blended gasoline burns hotter than plain gasoline and it does not provide the same BTU's that gasoline does. The efficiency of the engines is also reduced due to the lower BTU's.
