If you see the structure of the exams, college exams weigh more than AP exams after a point. The variety of questions in college exams requires thorough study and preparation. It does not mean that the preparation for AP is less, but the type of college exams makes it harder.
Most students take this course to fulfill a General Education perspective requirement, so the level of instruction is not as rigorous as a course for students who plan to major in physics. However, you will be expected to comprehend fundamental concepts and apply physical reasoning to a variety of situations.
Why can't I understand physics?
Physics demands problem-solving skills that can be developed only with practice. It also involves theoretical concepts, mathematical calculations and laboratory experiments that adds to the challenging concepts.
May be the book you are reading is difficult enough to understand or you are not solving the examples before starting the problems or you are not able to get the concept etc... it is a very common problem , mostly students face that, don't think about it u can easily solve this physics problems .
